As a nutritionist, people often ask me to create a diet for them. And I can do that… but only with your help. Your food diary will allow us to create a plan that will set you on a path to success.

  • What is a food diary and a nutrition background brief?
    A food diary is a clear, concrete vision of your daily intake over a certain period of time. Three components of a food diary include what time you eat, what you eat and about how much. The key is to be honest and accurate. This is for you. A stronger, healthier, more nutritious you. It’s your time to Shape Up with me! A nutrition background brief is an overview of your food and beverage preferences, family history, medical conditions, any prescriptions or supplements, along with your daily lifestyle (stress, work environment, etc.) and even if you have pets! By learning about you, I can create a more customized plan for your success. Let’s Get Started!
  • Are all sessions virtual or by phone?
    Typically, sessions are online via Zoom. I may be available for in-person appointments per location or need.
  • Who can Laurie help?
    I’ve worked with all ages, sizes, and histories! I specialize in young athletes and people who really want to change, after trying diet after diet. We will work together to create a plan to make adjustments to your food intake for a healthier future. Are you ready?
  • What happens in the 15 minute consultation?
    I will speak with you personally and confidentially about your goals, the Shape Up food diary and nutrition background brief, as well as set you on the start of your nutritional journal focusing on food choices based on your habits, culture and environment.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    At this time, unfortunately we do not accept insurance.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Your appointment will begin at a scheduled time. If you cannot attend, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. You can reschedule an appointment twice, whereafter there will be no refund for services.
